P.S. Still enjoying TNT’s ‘The Company’ vastly more than ‘The Good Shepherd’. If Bobby DeNiro’s turn in the latest Stardust is any guide, perhaps Slate should sharpen their pencils on that one, too.

I do feel for Pat Buchanan in one respect, subbing for Tucker. He tries gamely to read the copy into into Willie Geist’s closing segment of fluff and snark and it is such a generational chasm. One suspects Pat would rather pull a revolver than read the stuff but is a loyal company man.
Earlier today, Tweety gushed about Billie Graham as “Daddy” and how great it would be to be in “Daddy’s presence”, etc. Isn’t there a 5 second delay for this sort of thing?
