Erm…. Is that Yglesias link meant to be ironic? Because 1) little Mattie doesn’t exactly impress by lifting a couple of random cites from fiction for his — rebuttal?, and 2) Yglesias is just Brooks in larval form.

Brooks seems to by crying for help sometimes when he does these columns – That was a very lonely sad colume he just wrote – poorly disguised with a thin veneer of pop anthropology.
